nice to see a complete work from you great job making the tattoos not look like..well, a drawing overlaid on him. you know? it's hard for me to make a tattoo look natural on a person. all the shinyness is my favorite though, especially the white blue on his fingers and the bottle. it kinda pulls your eyes down out of the picture and cools you off from all the orange.

I drank a whole bottle of sake at a japanese restaurant once... it was gross, and I didn't even get a little bit drunk. kind of a waste of effort unless you like the taste of alchohol :\

OMG THIS IS SO AWESOME!!! I have totally NEVER seen Shaine so exactly in the enviroment I would picture him in! Totally laid back, drinking something strong and musky, grinning, and I LOVE all the orange, it's so very moroccon *fucking gushes for the next goddam century*

This is so much more than I could have asked for it, I am totally ... okay, I cant even think of an adjective and accurately describes my feelings, so I'll just say this:

I love the whisps coming from the bottle, it's so subtly magical, just like Shaine =^3^= And the tattoos look AWESOME! They look very accurate, and like dew said, not just pasted on top!

Wow Ata, the minute I saw the preview image, I could tell you'd put a lot of effort into this! Everything about this one is warm and characteristic of Shaine this blows away my dorky lil sketch of him for sure I don't think you did a bad job on the tattoos either, looks almost like that one kind of east indian tattooing (mendi is it? Meh. Dunno...) The lantern's qonderful as well I don 't think I could pull off that shadowing any time soon @_@

Couldn't agree more, i was getting tired of all those pseudo drawings :] Awww thanks! Actually it's pretty simple, you just draw them on multiply and voila~! Yaay! I was thinking, that all that orange might be a bit too much and then, WHAM, i wasn't able to draw water so i thought, hey MAGICAL WATER is the way to go, ey? >D

Nahhh, dorky little sketches are just...well dorky lol. I have the picture in my scrap section. It's that "Shaine's Umbrella" one I did not too long ago ^_^* I think you commented on it, actually.

The lantern is still funky! And thanks for the compliment, I tend to get a little emo about things every now and then when I don't push myself enough in art. Meh!

Ooh! I can't wait to see your rendition of the scrawnicus wampicus if you need ideas or ref let me know. There's a head shot of him in the picture "We will be here when you fall" also in my scrap section. It's about the only acurate picture to date of him that I've done. I've been trying to finish a story on him and his supposed "prey." I might be posting it when I can actually get into a writing mode and finish off the rough and good copy of it.
